A lot of times, there's no information on how to rebuild credit... I found with PREMIER if I had a question, I can call and I would get answers.

Frequently Asked Questions

The PREMIER Bankcard Secured Credit Card is secured which means it requires a refundable2 security deposit to open the account. Once you’ve been approved, you can use the card to make in-person or online purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted—just like a traditional credit card. A secured credit card can help you establish, build, or rebuild your credit, because it allows you the opportunity to show the consumer reporting agencies that you can use credit responsibly.

Your credit limit starts at $200, and you will have the opportunity after the account is opened to build your credit limit up to $5,000 by adding funds to your security deposit. Your refundable2 security deposit then acts as your credit limit, putting you in control. You may have the opportunity to deposit additional funds to the security deposit after the account is opened to increase your amount of available credit and decrease your credit utilization (the percentage of available credit that you owe at any given time).

Managing a credit card is one way for you to build or rebuild your credit and improve your credit score. To help build good credit, use credit cards regularly and make all your payments on time. You’ll also want to keep an eye on what’s called credit utilization. Credit utilization is the percentage of your total credit you're using. In general, you should aim to keep your utilization percentage low (under 30%) by using a small portion of your card's credit limit.   Secured credit cards are often a great place to start. A refundable2 security deposit is required to open your account. The PREMIER Bankcard Secured Credit Card can give you the opportunity to start your journey to building or rebuilding your credit right now vs having to wait until you’re eligible for the unsecured.
